really, when you visit a city that houses so many of your friends, you just have to schedule some time to play, and that’s exactly what we did last friday. after a long week of meetings, events, and (work) parties (much harder than regular parties), we were ready to have some fun.
first, we met up with bekka palmer and our friends at tattly for lunch… it’s a real good thing we did. after a whole week of sharing a room, jen & kelly were ready to get matching “besties” tattoos on their forearms. the tattly crew saved the day by providing a temporary version of the real thing (which is fine, because jen’s afraid of needles anyway.)
then we spent the afternoon with our super-stylish friend katie evans. she took us on a carousel ride in brooklyn bridge park and then out for seriously amazing desserts at one girl cookies.
about this time, we were ready for a drink (or five) so we took our friend max wanger‘s suggestion and camped out at the wythe hotel with samm blake for the remainder of the evening. and when the bartender made us the most amazing salty dogs, we allowed ourselves to overlook that fact that he wouldn’t laugh at our jokes or appreciate those matching (temporary) tattoos.

I’m so glad you visited Brooklyn, having you here was a BLAST!
