have you guys ever made candied apples? like the kind they sell at county fairs? after very little deliberation, we decided that we wanted to give it a whirl. we found this very cool and very pink recipe, bought a couple apples, and broke out the candy thermometer! here’s a tip: the candy coating is super hard so don’t bite into the apple whole. cut it up before eating and you’ll be good to go! for our last two apples, we went little crazy and gave them a sparkly (non-edible) twist! sometimes, you just have to create your own inspiration, right?!
